Undergraduate research can be done in any major and lead to some amazing opportunities - but how do you get started? Learn more about what undergraduate research entails, how to find a faculty mentor, and what funding opportunities exist. Snacks provided!

Managing details, multiple schedules, course work, responsibilities, and deadlines can create a sense of overwhelming. However, with a little bit of mindfulness combined with cultivating simple micro-habits, a shift can happen.

Students will learn how to apply for the experiences, how to show up to the externship, and how to make the most out of the experience. If you have a scheduling conflict, please let [[lrandolph, Lisa Randolph]] know as soon as possible.

In celebration of Latinx Heritage Month, the Beta Delta Chapter of Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Inc. will be hosting a panel and discussion on the Latin American diaspora and its different experiences with adversity on October 5th @ 7pm in Tidewater A

A W&M alum and an advocate of diversity and inclusion issues in medicine, Dr. Fabian will speak from her experiences as a transwoman in the field of orthopedic surgery and her life's journey more broadly.
