[PAST EVENT] Meetup: Looking Out For Our Planet
Liz Saccoccia is a research analyst at the World Resources Institute, and the Data Team Lead for Resource Watch, an open platform to explore accurate, up-to-date insights about our planet. She supports the management, design, and development of Resource Watch, focusing on data evaluation and analysis. Liz is also the product manager of the Water, Peace, and Security Tool, a machine learning based early warning system for water and security hotspots.
Prior to joining WRI, Liz served in Nicaragua as a Peace Corps Volunteer and worked on the GIS team for AidData. Liz holds a degrees in Geology and Environmental Science from William & Mary and is currently working on a Masters in Analytics at Georgia Tech.
