[PAST EVENT] Solera Capital Internship

Qualifications:
All William & Mary undergraduates with Arts and Sciences majors who will be seniors in 2015-16 are eligible to apply. Applicants must possess demonstrated research, writing, and analytical skills. Some training in statistics and/or other quantitative methods will be helpful, but is not required. Applicants must also have excellent verbal communication skills and be able to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Application Process:
Applicants should submit the required items (see the website, below) to the Charles Center by 12 p.m. on Thursday, April 2. A faculty committee will interview finalists and select the intern.
Solera makes private equity investments in emerging growth companies in industries with compelling long-term prospects. Solera?s portfolio companies have achieved leadership positions within the organic/natural, US Latin media, consumer healthcare, specialty branded retail, health/wellness and sustainable industries. We are a forward-looking, modern firm that values creative, diverse thinking and talent. Among other opportunities, the William and Mary intern will be involved in research, marketing and strategic projects within the portfolio companies. The intern will receive a stipend of $6,000 to cover summer expenses during the 8-week internship.
Solera Capital?s CEO, Molly Ashby ?81, is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the College who majored in International Relations. She was a senior executive at J. P. Morgan Capital before founding Solera Capital in 1999.
