[PAST EVENT] First Joint VIMS and William & Mary Postdoctoral Research Symposium

Postdoc Symposium Announcement
Please join us for the first joint VIMS and William & Mary postdoctoral research symposium.
When: May 6, 2015. 8:30 am - 8 pm.
Where: Watermen's Hall, VIMS campus, Gloucester Point, VA
Registration: Now till April 22nd, 2015.
This event will showcase the exciting work of postdocs on the VIMS and William & Mary campuses, across a variety of departments. It will also involve several career building, networking, and community enhancement events for postdocs, graduate students, faculty, undergraduates, and staff.
All are welcome to attend, we just ask that you please register for this event by April 22 so that we can get a headcount for food and other activities. If you attend this event, besides hearing about some amazing research, enhancing your career skills, and networking, you will be provided with a continental breakfast, coffee, lunch, snacks, dinner, and happy hour. There is no cost for the event. However, you must register to attend. You can register at:

*Special Instructions for Postdoc Attendees: We really want to hear about your research, either by having you present a talk or poster. Postdocs from all departments on the VIMS and William & Mary campuses are invited to present. Please have your titles to us ASAP, and by April 22 at the latest. You can indicate in the online registration form whether you prefer to give a talk or poster. We will pay for your poster printing, but you need to get us your completed poster by April 22. We are offering a $500 prize for the best talk and a $250 prize for the best poster presentations. That is right, this event is no cost to you and you might walk away $500 richer! Please email your completed posters to [[v|arwargo]] by April 22, or we will not be able to pay for printing.
