We are excited to host three distinguished William & Mary professors to talk about the impact of social-political polarization on constitutional law and policy. Each of our speakers will address the issue from a unique perspective.
Professor Neal E. Devins, Sandra Day O'Connor Professor of Law, Cabell Research Professor, Professor of Government, and Director of the Institute of Bill of Rights Law, will discuss the impact of polarization on judicial institutions and the Supreme Court. Professor John J. McGlennon, Professor of Government and Public Policy, will comment on the impact of polarization on local/state politics and political environment. Finally, Professor C. Lawrence Evans, Newton Family Professor of Government, will evaluate the impact of polarization on Congress and national public policy. Those who attend will also receive a free lunch provided by Jersey Mike's Subs!
