BugFest is back! York County Mosquito Control, Public Library, and Parks & Recreation invite you to celebrate bugs at their 5th Annual BugFest. The festival will include insect displays, local experts with bug facts, Bug Talks, crafts, activities, and more! Bug-themed Story Time will take place in the auditorium.

VIMS will be joining the fun with an exhibit dedicated to the "bugs" of the ocean: including zooplankton (microscopic and giant animal drifters) and marine invertebrates! The exhibit will include preserved invertebrates from our Invertebrate Collection, live samples of plankton to observe and identify, a plankton race activity, and fun craft activities!

Food trucks will be on-site with food and beverages available for purchase.
