George Mason Law is a public law school, located in Arlington, Virginia, just across the Potomac River from downtown Washington, DC. With small class sizes, students enjoy a close-knit and collaborative community in which they engage with one another and with faculty. And Virginia residents also have the benefit of in-state tuition rates.

Among some of the strongest academic concentrations at George Mason Law are antitrust law, intellectual property law, international law, immigration law, cyber law, national security law & policy, corporate & securities law, public interest law, regulatory law and sports law.

Given the location of the law school, students are able to participate in internships and externships, as well as to begin building their professional networks in the Northern Virginia and Washington, DC, legal markets, while in law school – in both the private and public sectors. George Mason Law also offers a wide range of experiential learning opportunities through various skills training classes and clinical programs, such as the Supreme Court Clinic, the Immigration Litigation Clinic the Law & Mental Illness Clinic and the Mason Veterans and Servicemembers Legal Clinic.
