Are you interested in a corporate, nonprofit, or government job working in the international career space? In this workshop, students will receive tips on conducting a job search, interviewing, negotiating a job offer, and other strategies to support their professional development and pursuit of an international career. The presenter is a W&M 2015 alum and is the Senior Manager for Export Controls at Microsoft Corporation.

Tracy will be presenting on the topics for about 45 minutes and the remaining 45 minutes are open for student questions and/or conversation.

About the Presenter:
Tracy Gronewold ‘15 began her international trade career at the Grimaldi Group and its daughter Atlantic Container Line working in the documentation for export. After graduating, she began working for a small defense company, MLM International, in Washington DC, managing contract negotiation and execution, logistics, and global trade compliance. In 2021, she moved to Microsoft Corporation’s Global Trade team to continue her work in the area of US and international export controls and sanctions. She is an advisor on the Defense Trade Advisory Group, advising the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls at the State Department on industry regulatory response and best practices; the president of the PIPS Alumni Network, which provides ongoing support for networking and career growth to former researchers at the Project on International Peace & Security; and is a founder and vice president at Taste Dominion, a company that seeks to implement state-of-the-industry technology & automation to produce highly nutritious, sustainable food.
