Tiefel Lecture in Religious Ethics, Maria Heim, George Lyman Crosby & Stanley Warfield Crosby Professor in Religion and Chair of Religion at Amherst College, will speak on “Ethics, Emotions, and Aesthetics: Insights from Classical India” drawing on her new book, Words for the Heart: A Treasury of Emotions from Classical India (Princeton University Press, 2022). The lecture will begin at 4:00 PM in Washington Hall Room 201.
