Professor Jeremy Hartnett will give a lecture on "Sound and Experience in a Roman City: Listening to Pompeii." Prof. Hartnett is a specialist in ancient Urbanism who teaches in the department of Classical Studies at Wabash College.
This lecture is free and open to the public as part of the series of lectures put on by the Williamsburg chapter of the Archaeological Institute of America. All are welcome to attend, and there will be a reception afterwards at which you can meet the speaker.
