[PAST EVENT] The Art of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting

Chinese calligraphy and painting are highly regarded in Chinese culture. The first four classes of this workshop will introduce calligraphy. Since both art forms use similar tools, the second four classes will focus on painting and build on the skills from the first half. Artwork of various styles by masters from different historical periods will be studied. In addition, the participants will practice the two arts and create their own pieces.
