[PAST EVENT] Panel on Student Data Privacy

Please join W&M IT on Monday, February 23rd at 7:00 pm in Washington 201 for a panel-discussion on the issues involved with Data Privacy. In a time of growing third-party accessibility to our personal web information, Internet users are becoming increasingly concerned with maintaining Privacy. But how accurately do our digital footprints reflect our personal information? Who has access to this information and should we have a say in how they use it? How are students exposed to privacy concerns in particular? Peter Kellogg, IT's Director of Information Security will join Prof. Rebecca Green from the Law School and Amelia Vance from the National Association of State Boards of Education for the informative discussion.
