March 20, 2012
12:50pm - 1:50pm
The 2011 word of the year was, not surprisingly, "occupy." Join the Student Division of the Institute of Bill of Rights Law for a discussion of the Occupy Movement with Professor Timothy Zick and Occupy Wall Street Organizer, Amin Husain.
Timothy Zick is Cabell Research Professor of Law at the William & Mary Law School. He is the author of Speech out of Doors: Preserving First Amendment Liberties in Public Places.
Amin Husain is an organizer with Occupy Wall Street, who was involved in organizing the movement in the months leading up to the occupation of Zuccotti Park. He has a J.D. from Indiana University - Bloomington and an LL.M. from Columbia.
