Scholarships are offered up to $5,000 per semester and are not limited to specific programs, destinations, or fields of study. FEA awards funds to students planning to study abroad on academically rigorous programs with a preference for underrepresented students. In addition to our general scholarships, FEA also awards the BASAA Scholarship, awarded to a deserving student who attends a US university/college located in the BASAA area (Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Connecticut); and the Rainbow Scholarship, awarded to a deserving LGBT student who aims to participate in an education abroad program.
