Beginning in the Spring 2013 semester, the duties include assisting in the selection of Classroom Instructors (CIs), who lead classroom discussions, review work produced in the classroom, and participate in afternoon and evening activities; and the recruiting, interviewing, and selecting Peer Assistants (PAs), who work individually with the small teams of Japanese students to assist them with their projects and daily activities. The Assistant Director, in conjunction with the Academic Director helps to plan and hold an orientation session for PAs and CIs, and assists on deciding the tentative schedule. Molly DeStafney, GEO Assistant Director for Study Abroad Operations and Keio Coordinator at the Reves Center, also assists in planning and implementing these activities.

JOB REQUIREMENT: Previous experience in the Keio program. Successful candidate will possess strong team-building and communication skills, interest in cross-cultural and/or international education.

Compensation: $3,500
