PIPS is an undergraduate think tank at the College of William and Mary focused on producing rigorous policy relevant research in the areas of international peace and security.
Each academic year, PIPS invites juniors and seniors with cumulative GPAs at or above a 3.7 to apply for a PIPS research fellowship. Students selected to be PIPS fellows identify emerging international security challenges and provide original policy white papers. Fellows present their work to policy officials and scholars at a symposium in Washington, D.C. They also receive assistance in converting their work into published articles and in attaining policy internships and employment.
In addition, PIPS offers six internships to freshman and sophomores with a cumulative GPA at or above 3.7 to work on their own security-related policy papers, while also supporting the efforts of the PIPS research fellows during the spring semester. PIPS interns earn 3 credit hours of independent study for their academic work.
If you would like to apply to be a PIPS intern, please submit your application by Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 5 pm.
