The Quebec Act of 1774: Transnational Contexts, Meaning, and Legacies is an international conference organized by the French Atlantic History Group and the Omohundro Institute of Early American History and Culture, in partnership with Bibliotheque et Archives nationales du Quebec (BAnQ), with support from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, the French Atlantic History Group, and the University of Montreal.
This conference brings together scholars from a variety of fields, historical approaches, and linguistic backgrounds to discuss one event from the perspective of histoire croisee, or entangled history: the Quebec Act of 1774.
