If you are a graduating senior with good German skills and would like to live and teach English in Austria for 7 months, please consider applying for the U.S. English Teaching Language Teaching Assistantship Program in Austria. The Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, the Arts and Culture finances this program, while the Austrian-American Educational Commission (Fulbright Commission) administers the program.
This program is a fine opportunity for U.S. teaching assistants, who not only gain classroom experience, but also serve as linguistic and cultural ambassadors of the United States in secondary schools throughout Austria.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens, have a bachelor?s degree as a minimum requirement (or be completing one when they apply), and ideally be interested in careers in education or public service. Graduating seniors may apply, provided they have their degrees before assuming the positions.
Completed Appliations must be submitted by January 15, 2012.
