The Birch, the nation's first undergraduate journal dedicated exclusively to Slavic, Eastern European, and Eurasian affairs is currently accepting submissions for the upcoming Spring 2012 edition. They accept literary criticism, culture & politics (which encompasses a wide range of fields, from history to film), and creative writing (including poetry, prose, essays, translations, and photography). The final deadline is January 27th.
The Birch has upheld a high standard of scholarship and submission is a great way for undergraduates to showcase their work.
