Fellows will receive financial support as well as assistance finding internships with Congressional offices during the months of June through August.
Public Service Senior Fellows will receive a summer stipend of $3,000. Public Service Junior Fellows will receive a summer stipend of $1,000. Sarafan-Ghorbani Fellows will receive a summer stipend of $1,000.
Applications must be college sophomores, juniors, seniors, or recent graduates who are U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents of Iranian descent.
Food, lodging and transport will be the student's responsibility.
Applicants are judged on the basis of academic credentials, demonstrated interested and involvement in public service and the Iranian-American community, and the ability to fulfill needs and expectations of the host office.
