Phi Beta Delta is a nationwide honor society dedicated to recognizing and encouraging achievement in internationally-related endeavors, including scholarship, research, and public service.

The Zeta Delta chapter at William & Mary is strongly committed to contributing to internationalism on campus, while likewise bringing together students, faculty, and staff with interest and/or involvement in international issues. Supported by the Reves Center for International Studies, Phi Beta Delta seeks not only to recognize outstanding international achievements, but also strives to promote international awareness and interdisciplinary collaboration through student-led activities and programs.

Join Phi Beta Delta to:

-Participate in a highly acclaimed, nationwide, international honor society.
-Meet students, faculty, and staff who are interested in internationalism and involved in a variety of globally-oriented activities.
-Contribute to the internationalization of William & Mary through on-campus programs.
-Attend Phi Beta Delta's annual conference.
-Apply for scholarships offered by the national chapter each year.
-Wear the PBD regalia at graduation.

Domestic and international students are eligible for membership.

Students must have completed at least 36 credit hours of college courses, at least 12 of which must be while at William & Mary (9 for graduate students).

Students must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher (for graduate students: 3.5 or in top 25% of class).

Students must have studied, conducted research, or had a comparative academic experience abroad for 4 or more weeks in college, and/or be actively involved in promoting international understanding at W&M.
