[PAST EVENT] 24 Speed 2016 - The Film Screenings

For the 24 Hour Filmmaking Contest, W&M students and alumni had just 24 hours to write, shoot, and edit a film. Each team was given a prop and line of dialogue that were be used in their film, as well as a genre for their film.
All films will be shown on the big screen at the Kimball Theatre on Friday night of the Global Film Festival. Specifically, films will be shown on February 19th at 11pm. See your friends' cinematic masterpieces on the big screen!
The following prizes will be awarded for both the alumni and student films:
- AUDIENCE AWARD - BEST FILM (votes tallied by audience members at the screening)
- JURY PRIZE - BEST FILM (determined by a panel of judges)
-BEST USE OF LINE (determined by the jury)
-BEST USE OF PROP (determined by the jury)
-BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY (determined by the jury)
-BEST EDITING (determined by the jury)
The contest is bought to you by the Reeder Media Center in partnership with the W&M Global Film Festival.
