Please join us for a lecture on "The Sound of Absence: Kurosawa, Hayasaka, and the Missing Music of Ikiru" by Michael Harris (Visiting Instruction Librarian, William & Mary). Dr. Harris will analyze and reconstitute the score of Ikiru, one of Akira Kurosawa's best known films. Sponsored by the Asian and Middle Eastern Studies Program. Open to the public.
