Come to William and Mary's second annual Interfaith conference, hosted by the College's interfaith club, i-Faith! The main goal of this conference is to present conflicts in the world that did not arise from religious differences but somehow became described as such.
The discussions include how these are misinterpretations. A second goal of the conference is to look at religion as a means of finding a solution to these conflicts.
Tentative Speakers and Topics include:
* H.E. Ebrahim Rasool, Ambassador of South Africa: How Interfaith Cooperation Helped Defeat the Apartheid
* Dr. Cynthia Mahmood, Notre Dame: Interfaith Cooperation and the Potential for Peace in Kashmir
* Dr. Sarhang Hamasaeed, USIP: Interfaith Solidarity in the Kurdish Struggle for Autonomy
* Ms. Dena Trugman, IFYC: Developing Campus Interfaith Activism
