Plastic pollution

Plastic pollution is one of the most significant issues facing our oceans today. Join us as we explore the issues surrounding plastic pollution, and provide suggestions for how you can reduce your usage of single-use plastics. VIMS graduate student Meredith Seeley will talk about her research on microplastics in the ocean.

This is the April installment of the 2019 Discovery Lab Series. Reservations to this free, family-friendly event are required due to limited space. Call 804-684-7061 for further information.

Registration for this event will open 6 weeks before the event.
