Dr. Nkalubo will discuss the history of fisheries research in Uganda, the evolution of the National Fisheries Resources Research Institute (NaFIRRI), what NaFIRRI does, the Lake Victoria watershed and constraints to increased fish production, and student opportunities at NaFIRRI. Dr. Nkalubo is working in the GIS lab on the William & Mary main campus during the month of October and will be visiting VIMS next Monday.
