The Virginia Institute of Marine Science's Center for Coastal Resources Management will hold a workshop for local government staff, advisory board members, marine contractors, permitting agents, environmental consultants, and anyone else interested in coastal resources management in the Commonwealth. Speakers include VIMS CCRM scientists, VMRC engineers, and Master Gardeners.

There will be an optional self-guided field trip to the VIMS Boat Basin to view floating wetlands, living shoreline examples, and progression of the planted beach at VIMS breakwaters.
