In recognition of the twenty-four pioneering women who were admitted to the College in 1918, The President’s Collection of Art presents the exhibition Following in their Footsteps at the Sadler Center.
This exhibition showcases alumnae art depicting works both by women and of women, including the newly acquired bronze sculpture Dawn by Christina Fleckenstein ’18 created for the 100 Years of Women commemoration.
The President’s Collection of Art is a public art program developed to enhance the quality of life at William & Mary through the visual arts and to serve as a channel for community building and engagement through public exhibition. On view August 29, 2018 to May 12, 2019.
