Come to Aromas in Colonial Williamsburg for an afternoon of coffee, delicious food, and important conversation. 10% of the profits will be donated to the National Eating Disorder Association’s clinical research fund, the Feeding Hope Fund. This fund is designed to provide funds for initial pilot studies. Research is critical for eating disorders, as their effects are so wide and severe. Eating disorders affect a large number of people, of all ages, races/ethnicities, genders, sexualities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. This includes not only those who personally experience eating disorders, but their loved ones, colleagues, and wider society. Furthermore, eating disorders are the single most deadly mental illness due to the high rates of medical complication and suicide.
