W&M Study in DC

Come get of taste of Study in DC! In one day, you'll get career guidance from area alumni, hear from former Study in DC students, visit a unique DC organization with a W&M faculty expert, and practice your networking skills with alumni at an end of day reception. All of this, including roundtrip transportation from Williamsburg to DC, and meals is yours for $20. Limited scholarship funding is also available.

  • 7 am: Bus Departs from Campus
  • 10 am: Career Planning Sessions
    • Alumni Panel Discussion: How to Develop Professional Soft Skills and Network Effectively
    • Presentation: How to Maximize LinkedIn
    • Workshops: Resume Review and Mock Interviews with Alumni
  • 12:30 pm: Lunch Panel with Study in DC Alumni
  • 2:00 pm: Site Visit (Choose one theme)
    • National Security
    • DC History & Culture
    • Psychology/Neuroscience
  • 4:00 pm: Networking Reception
  • 6:00 pm: Bus Departs from DC
