Please join us on Monday, March 2 for a talk by Thomas Travisano at 5 PM in Tucker Theatre. There will be a reception to follow. Travisano is author of the acclaimed new biography “Love Unknown: The Life and Worlds of Elizabeth Bishop” (Viking 2019). He will speak of his forty-year-long journey, across three continents, in search of elusive clues to the life story of this great twentieth-century American poet. Travisano’s journey began at William & Mary, where he completed a doctoral thesis on Bishop while serving as an instructor in 1981.
