Join us for June's After Hours lecture on the 25th at 7 PM.

The Nunnally Ichthyology Collection at VIMS began in the 1950s and has grown to house over 500,000 specimens of fishes from the streams of Virginia, the deep-sea, and places in-between. The Collection contains three major preparation types: fluid preserved, skeletal, and cleared and stained fishes. Join us as collections manager Dr. Sarah Huber shares some of the most unusual specimens in the collection along with preservation techniques used for each preparation type.
