Steps to Better Portrait Drawing

September 25 - 26, 2020

5 – 8 PM (daily), Virtual


Steve Prince, Director of Engagement, Muscarelle Museum of Art 


In this two-day virtual workshop, participants will learn a conceptual formula for creating successful portraits in charcoal. Students will learn proportion and shading techniques of the human head. The instructor will issue a supply list for all participants to purchase and follow along in the virtual classroom. This class is open to teens and adults.


Muscarelle Members, W&M Staff, Faculty, and Students: $25

Non-Members: $40
