[PAST EVENT] MedServe Information Session
Join us for an info session with MedServe, a 2-year service-learning fellowship for recent graduates interested in health careers, especially pre-med and pre-PA students. MedServe is recruiting its 7th class of Fellows and currently has 70 Fellows serving across North Carolina.
MedServe places future healthcare professionals in “rock star” primary care clinics across rural and other medically underserved communities in North Carolina. Fellows work in both a clinical role (e.g. as a medical assistant) and community role (e.g. as a health coach).
Fellowship Perks include 1700+ clinical hours experience, a 2 Week Training Institute in Chapel Hill, NC at UNC SOM, personalized med school application prep and support, quarterly trainings across the state (in Charlotte, Asheville and Greenville), and a yearly stipend + education award.
