2011 began with heavy snow and frigid temperatures across the eastern U.S. and in Europe, while heavy flooding struck Australia and Brazil. Join NASA climate scientist Bruce Wielicki as he explains the difference between weather and climate, and how recent weather extremes fit within the broader context of global climate change.
