Recently, Fielder et al (J. Adolescent Health, 2012) completed a small study on women and the hook-up culture at one particular university.
As its first event in a monthly educational series entitled Sex on the Sixth, the Sexual Health branch of the College's peer education organization, HOPE, will hold a town hall meeting about hook-ups and their implications for students in or out-of relationships.
So get to the Commons around 5:45 p.m., select your food, enter the private dining room by 6 or so, take a seat, and chat with others about what hook-ups mean to us and for us.
You also have the right to just listen and eat, if you wish. Your mere presence is participation.
Eric Marlowe Garrison (M.A.Ed. '94), health promotion specialist, will be on hand to moderate, if necessary.
Stay tuned for Sex on the Sixth educational/discussion events on the 6th of February through the 6th of May 2013, from VIMS to the School of Business, to reach every undergraduate and graduate student in between.
