The ocean teems with untold numbers and kinds of drifting animals called zooplankton. In this Tack Faculty Lecture, Debbie Steinberg of William & Mary's Virginia Institute of Marine Science will explore these creatures' planetary impacts, using photos and video from research cruises to Chesapeake Bay, Antarctica, the Amazon plume and the Sargasso Sea to reveal a startling and beautiful world filled with animals stranger than science fiction. Expect audience interaction, including some mysteries of the deep! Be there at 7 p.m. at the Kimball Theatre.
