[PAST EVENT] Chinese Placement Exam

10am - 12pm
The Chinese language placement exam is scheduled for Monday, August 22, in Washington 317. The exam will be offered twice: 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., and again 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. Incoming students who have studied Chinese elsewhere (in high school or another college), or come from a Chinese-speaking heritage, and wish to pursue Chinese language study at W&M must take one of the exams. Students will also need to have a very brief follow-up interview with Chinese faculty. The sign-up sheet for interviews will be posted on the glass doors outside of the Modern Languages office on the second floor of Washington Hall by Saturday, August 20.
