Brazilian musicians Tiago Delgado and Daniel Inamorato met as students at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University and quickly realized that they had an obvious musical compatibility. They performed together at Indiana University and officially premiered the duo at University of Newfoundland, Canada, where Mr. Delgado currently teaches.
Mr. Daniel Inamorato is a multidisciplinary performing artist and pedagogue from Brazil, recently hired as piano faculty at William & Mary. He moved to the United States in 2011 and has worked at Indiana University, DePauw University, Hampton University, Christopher Newport University, and University of North Carolina School of the Arts. For a full resume you can visit www.danielinamorato.com Mr. Inamorato is the founder and director of The Toy Piano Sanctuary & Neurodiversity Music Institute; director and curator of A Teia de Idéias, a special needs focused company in Brazil, that builds affordable pedagogic materials and adapted musical instruments for people with disabilities. With an interest in both contemporary and historical clarinet performances, Brazilian-born clarinetist Tiago Delgado www.tiagodelgadoclarinetist.com promotes equity, diversity, and inclusion through collaborative music-making. Tiago currently serves as faculty at the Memorial University of Newfoundland and served as Clarinet Teaching Artist (agent of artistic experience – inspiring children to achieve their full potential through orchestral music) at the New Brunswick Youth Orchestra; and as instructor at the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music in Palestine through the non-profit organization “Project: Music Heal Us/Novel Voices: Distance Learning”. Tiago is also currently pursuing a DMA in Clarinet Performance at the University of Toronto and his education includes a Performer Diploma from Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music, an M.M from Kent State University, and a bachelor’s in music from Minas Gerais Federal University (Brazil). Tiago has appeared as a chamber musician at the 21C Music Festival, Ottawa Chamberfest, Stratford Summer Music, Toronto Summer Music, Festival of the Sound- Parry Sound, Orford Winds, and Festival Musique de Chamber Lac Baker as well as orchestra player with the Goiás Philharmonic Orchestra’s national tour with concerts at Cláudio Santoro Auditorium (Campos do Jordão) and Sala São Paulo.
