Running a 5K can seem daunting. Zero to 5K is designed to train even the most beginner runners/walkers for a 5K by the end of November. All skill and experience levels are encouraged to come out and participate in a supportive and fun introduction to the benefits of running. Running is a great stress reliever and feel-good activity.
Once complete, test your skills in the Bee & Goody 5K on November23!
Small Group Training offers a new option to patrons, in addition to personal training and group fitness. Like group fitness, patrons workout with a group of people with similar interests and have the motivation and guidance of an instructor. The group and the instructor provide support and accountability. However in small group training the number of people is limited to 10, to allow for more attention from the instructor. While group fitness classes are a drop-in format, small group training series are each 8 classes long and the same group meets for a full month. This format allows participants of similar experience levels to progress at a consistent pace and for the instructor to more appropriately challenge them based on their goals.
Free for Fitwell Patrons, $15 for Non-Fitwell Patrons.
