The purpose of the Virginia Adventure Education Conference is to provide a one-day professional development experience for students and professionals involved in adventure-based education/recreation with the goal of bringing together outdoor professionals throughout Virginia. VA AEC is a chance to network, learn, and meet like-minded colleagues in VA. Both Professionals and Students involved in outdoor recreation or who are exploring careers in the field are invited to participate and network.
Camps, outdoor programs, outdoor schools, adventure-based guiding services, public outdoor recreation service providers, outdoor gear companies, and other organizations involved in outdoor pursuits will be present to share resources and recruit staff.
