Join VIMS professor Ryan Carnegie as he explores how development of disease resistance among Chesapeake Bay oysters calls for a shift in oyster-restoration strategies within the Bay and its tributaries. His presentation is based on 60 years of research at VIMS into the prevalence of dermo and MSX diseases among the native eastern oyster Crassostrea virginica.
