Armin Langer

Armin Langer, author of the book Ein Jude aus Neukoeln / A Jew from the No-Go Area (Aufbau Verlag, 2016) and coordinator of the interfaith initiative Salaam-Shalom in Berlin, will present on the initiative and the relationship between Jews and Muslims in contemporary Germany. Sometimes known as the enfant terrible of the German Jewish community, Langer is an outspoken critic of the Central Council of the Jews in Germany, specifically for statements by the Director Josef Schuster calling for restricting the number of Muslims in Germany.
