National First-Generation College Celebration Day is Tuesday, November 8th to honor the anniversary of the signing of the Higher Education Act of 1965 - which ushered in programs necessary for post-secondary access, retention, and completion for low-income, potential first-generation college graduates. While the university may be closed due to Election Day, our campus community celebrations continue! 

Events begin on Monday, November 7 and continue through Wednesday, November 9th! The full schedule is available below.

Monday, November 7:

• FGLI with Friends Pet Therapy with Guinness: 12 PM - 2 PM (Wellness Center)
• Yoga for Stress Management: 4 PM - 5 PM (Wellness Center)
• FGLI with Friends @ Women's Basketball v. Navy: 5 PM - 7 PM (Kaplan Arena)
• FGLI with Friends @ Men's Basketball v. Navy: 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM (Kaplan Arena)

Tuesday, November 8:
