If you receive a Federal Pell Grant in your financial aid package, then you?re eligible to apply to the Benjamin Gilman International Scholarship. This scholarship awards up to $5,000 for study abroad. Roughly one in four of the students who apply to the Gilman scholarship receive it. It?s a wonderful way to pay for your study abroad. The application process is completely online. Applicants must write two essays and submit an official transcript (scanned and uploaded to the online application). Recommendations are not required. The deadline to apply to the Gilman scholarship is March 7.
