The Global Innovation Challenge is a hack-a-thon style international development case competition aimed at encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration to create innovative solutions to current global issues. Competing for a $450 cash prize, teams will generate solutions within one of three streams that will act as a framework for the case: technology, social entrepreneurship, and governance. Teams, consisting of 3-5 students, will have the the opportunity throughout the competition to engage with mentors from the international development community, including representatives from USAID, World Bank, DAI, Chemonics, ABT Associates, and the State Department. All majors and academic years (including graduate students) are welcome and encouraged!

In addition to the competition, students are invited to a networking expo that will showcase numerous career opportunities in the international development sphere, providing a great opportunity to network with some of the top employers in development.

The competition will take place on March 23 - 24 here at William & Mary.

Registration is currently LIVE and can be completed through this link (only one per team is necessary).
