Celebrate Geography Awareness Week with us! Here is a full schedule of events. The StoryMap can be viewed by clicking "More information." Undergraduate and alumni participants will be eligible to compete in the Geography Awareness Week competition, with geo-swag prizes for undergraduate winners and ArcGIS Personal Use licenses for graduating senior and alumni winners.

Monday

On Monday, weeklong virtual activities will open in the StoryMap. You can participate in these events at any point throughout the week to receive points in the Geography Awareness Week competition.

  • Globle challenge (complete up to 3 times)

Tuesday

Tuesday is National Meme Day. You can submit a GIS, map, or geography-related meme today.

Wednesday

Wednesday is GIS Day! Map coloring and puzzles will be available at the CGA Office (Swem 213) from 9 am - 5 pm, and there are other events happening at various points throughout the day. See the StoryMap for more details.

Thursday

On Thursday, stop by the CGA between 9 am and 5 pm to compete in our GeoGuessr competition. All participants will receive points.
