Dr. Caroly Shumway is the Senior Science Advisor to the Administrator of USAID, Chief Scientist for the Global Development Lab, and Director of the Center for Development Research. Dr. Shumway will discuss how USAID is using science and technology to transform international development efforts and the fight against global poverty, and explore the gaps and opportunities for transformation of development through science.
