[PAST EVENT] Deadline: Nominate a Grad Student for Sanderson Awards for Excellence in Undergraduate Mentoring
Nominate a graduate student for outstanding mentoring of undergraduates in scholarship and research outside of classroom teaching.
The S. Laurie Sanderson Awards for Excellence in Undergraduate Mentoring are awarded to A&S graduate students at the Graduate & Honors Research Symposium. These awards recognize mentoring in the context of undergraduate scholarship and research outside of classroom teaching. Such mentoring outside the classroom might include, among other examples, graduate students who mentor undergraduates in the context of undergraduate students' senior theses, honors theses, writing projects, term papers, or research in a laboratory, field site, museum, archive, or campus project.
