[PAST EVENT] George Wythe Society Lecture: Honorable William Mims, Justice of the Virginia Supreme Court

Justice Mims will discuss professional development and his journey from the College of William & Mary to the Supreme Court of Virginia. Justice Mims, a 1979 graduate of the College, has been involved in all levels of state government. He joined the Virginia House of Delegates in 1992 and the Senate of Virginia in 1998. He served as Chief Deputy Attorney General before being appointed Attorney General of Virginia in 2009. In 2010, Justice Mims was elected to the Supreme Court of Virginia by the General Assembly.
